hi al,
l can any one tell me how to put cccam on my dreambox (dm8000), I've tried looking for it in plugins but cant find it.
please help, below is a photo of which image is on my dm8000, thanks

ftp to tmp then manual install
might need chmod 775

thanks for your help DCG,
my first problem is that i don't know which version (cccam) to install, the second is i don't know how to manual install, i've looked into the plugins menu can't see nothing there (i've put a few images on but nothing)

SORRY MATE NEW TO THIS, THE EXTENT OF MY KNOWLEDGE ABOUT DREAMBOX IS
I KNOW THE BOX IS BLACK WITH SILVER TRIM AND HAS A GREEN DISPLAY

I've installed "OpenPLi-2.1-beta-dm8000-20120219" and downloded a cccam plugin does anyone know how to config it (basic-lee put a cli*e/config ect..... on it) at least i'm one step closer to getting cccam working on my dm8000

clearly you havent checked all the dreambox forums here , especially the NEWBIE forum , and especially as the details are explained in the special sections for cccam and newcamd in there

those details are applied by notepad or whatever to the cfg file , or ftp in and change the existing var/etc cfg file on the box itself

there is a lot to learn on these boxes , and its all been covered previously , and newbie questions should be in the newbie section , although I do realise you are currently posting in the correct section for your box , but that doesnt stop you from reading the other dreambox forums here, especially the dm newbie forum
