TT home warning

If you are using patched versions of tom tom & TT home beware, if you use TT home for GPS & mapshare updates they are including an update for your tom tom ver the tick box is greyed out so you cannot delete it and it is installed along with the other updates, that's when the problems start and the device keeps rebooting.
Had to delete all on my go 530 and reinstall.

I had this problem, but followed the tips on this thread and it now all works OK, but you do have to delete all the files and copy an older backed up version to the device that hasen't been curupted by the updates

Already done all that, read on another forum of someone renaming the ver to 2.8.9.9999 and recond it worked says it should be ok for future updates.

Just tried this on my XP desktop works ok will see which last longer.
