What is new in RTi Core v1.7.0:

- Added blindscan for Premium+ and Ultra ( Menu -> Setup -> Service Searching -> Manual Scan -> Type of scan: Move <- or -> to Blindscan )
- Fixed Teletext
- Fixed lag on Premium+ and Ultra model
- Fixed .mp4 playback with .srt files
- Fixed seg. fault messages on .avi files
- Added support for 3G USB Modems (You can enter own parameters to establish connection) (Menu-> Setup -> System -> [3G Set])
- Fixed timeshift and recording
- Fixed playback of recorded files
- Improved playback over network trough NFS, CIFS and UPnP

where is the blindscan that was promised for elite and premium??? doesn`t seem to be on changelog, been waiting 2-3 years now,haha right time for a change, vu+ me thinks....

Blindscan is only possible for Premium+ and Ultra.
Normal Premium and Elite don't have tuners, which are able to blindscan.

But we had them in OFW, so...? Even if it is only SW-based and "blindscans" only parameter by parameter, rather than HW-supported and it does a lot more at once...

blindscan only works on + (plus) and ultra models - end of.

No, it's not. If it's working on OFW - why not on E2?

the option might have been there, but it wasn't doing a true blind scan, as the tuners arent blind scan capable

Blagi, i went from Spaze 2.0 to this and saw improvements in channel zapping times, recording and picture quality. BUT, I do miss the user interface features and plugins from the Spaze f/w. If Spaze 2.2 comes out with this f/w improvements then wow what a f/w it would be!!

But another little "quality" of RTi team is no improvements/updates to GIT and so by now no teams are writing very much for AZbug...

Many thanks guys. Installed ts pannel works ok. Which download server do i use and which cc cam for this image. Many thanks. Aso see there is a rti core 1.8 out for me box wonder if it works on prem plus. Sorted blind scan.

Generally, any mips file is OK but leave the unmodified GP3 stuff be, for the time being, I guess... [not sure...]

We haven't had any GP3 modified image for a long time...

mips is the chipset that a plugin is designed to run on \ coded for.

azbox has a MIPS chip

octagon s1018 has an SH4 chip so cannt run mips plugins (even when converted to E2)

many thanks for all your help.got it all working,lets hope they enhance blind san next.so my box can run ccam youtube blind scan and 4.2.2 feeds not bad for a so called rubish box me thinks,and runs e2.its abit slow ch zapping. not as good as my db800.anyway only got it for feed hunting.once again thanks. ps wish i could get the hdmi to work

I had some HDMI trouble with SPAZE image too... Reboots essential, every so often, sadly...

Is it the same with RTi? Then, if so - it's the drivers...

Happier with RTI 1.7 than I was with Spaze 2.2.
Pretty stable even when too many button pushes when using MYTUBE.

Not sure where Spaze has gone with 2.2 but it looks like a step sideways if not backwards from 2.1.

yer have to agree there, hopefully 2.3 is around the corner inc a driver fix for ch4 hd
