Hi
I'm trying to connect to my vu+ duo (vix 2.3) using vu control centre - i have tested the network via the vu+ and everything is working fine. I have done cmd ipconfig on my pc to obtain the ip address - i have used the ipv4 address - is this correct? assuming this is correct i have input this address in vucc and hit connect - i get an error message "Access violation at address ******** in module VUCC.exe, Read of address 00000000.
the strange thing is my ip address is different today from yesterday so i have changed the ip address on the box Nameserver 1 to today's address and i get the same result.
I have tried dreamboxedit and am unable to connect using that so i assume i am doing something wrong.
yesterday i was also having problems connecting getting the message "incorrect password" i have never set a password for my box and i have left the password box empty. I have tried to find the password for my box but can't find it anywhere.
many an hour has been spent searching for answers to get me connected but i'm stuck!
any help would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT sorted - just flashed a different image - think it may have something to do with having the ip address on the box as the same ip address as my pc as on the new image the ip addy on the box is 1 number up from my pc ip addy...
