Not sure if I`m in the correct forum.

I have a hd 5000c box, purchased a year or so ago and due to illness haven`t used it much, in fact it has been on standby for the last year. Went to use the box the other day and it will not respond and no lights. Opened the case and can`t find any internal fuses. Tested power and it`s 240V either side of the switch. When left on all the heat sinks are getting warm so I presume that there aren`t any blown fuses hidden away. Sent an E mail to Clarke Techs site but no answer. It just seems such a shame because it`s hardly been used. It`s been in my study in dry conditions.

Any ideas on what might be wrong or would it be worth trying to get it repaired.

Thanks

Trying using a different connection ie, if your using hdmi, try scart etc. Have known boxes to stop transmitting via hdmi.
