Technomate TM-5402 HD CA USB any good?

just gave my dad my old technomate sd receiver and installed the dish etc so he is happy but
i now have no receiver as i am wishing to upgrade

is the Technomate TM-5402 HD CA USB any good ? i keep getting emails about spiderbox and dreambox? are these better?

it looks the dogs danglies but would like to know what you lot think is a good receiver for around the 150 quid mark?

needs to be HD though and also to be able to be patched as my old one was :-)

also what benefit does the ethernet port provide? does it provide access to other "free" channels or just for online streaming of youtube etc?

i would be interested in your views before i buy
