Barry Allan advice please.

Am considering dual boot & BA seems the only option for my 8K.

I don't want to change present image but would like to try some
later ones.

The image used is Black Hole Experimental January 2011.

Dreambox v1.6.0

Linux version v2.6.18-7.4

GCC version 4.4.3

What version of Barry Allan would run on the above specification.

Any advice/help would be appreciated.

The one listed in the Addon Ons download manager. :)

One installed you can add any images you want and select which to boot from whilst keeping the one you currently have. BUT from experience it's best to have BA on an image in Flash that has nothing much else on it for the sake of best performance.

The image has meoboot on the main
addon page which I gather is only for 1.5. Have not seen BA when
scrolling through updates on net.

However I have added another
addon server & there are a lot of different BA versions to dl but no
idea as yet what version to use. Gather latest BA is only for newest
images.

OK - delete meoboot - it wont work with 1.6.
Since you want to stay with this old image Find a BA version from 2011 up to the end October - all should work since you can update them as you use them and once installed it has its own update page.
Yes - the latest images will be 3... and are not yet fully stable although in use. yes - you can do as Donki says. I still think a more up to date image would give more features and cause no problems Oozoon. dream Elite and the like. Cheers - Brain
