Hi all,
As most will know, the battery in the navigo units is not the best.
I think i remember reading on the old pc-tailor site of someone who was attempting battery replacement with better cells. Did this work out?
If not, do you think it is possible?

having taken the faulty navigos apart for spares or repairs etc, I would say no as its a bespoke battery
but "never say never"

Ahh right, i was thinking perhaps there was some kind of generic battery pack. I never knew they made a bespoke battery for these units.

There is similar batterys for the Navigos on **** , I actually bought one for my v1 a couple of years ago and it's now useless. This v1 will not keep it's charge ,yet my v2 lasts for months ...................never drains at all when left switched off . When used in the car I always have it plugged in .If you take the back off your Navigo and feed the number from the battery into **** , you'll find a replacement , that's how I bought a new one for mine . I'm sure I had to solder the original wires from the old onto the new as the connector was different.
