expiry date on gift,??

can anyone help me,,i keep hearing about expiry dates on the gift on spiderbox 9000,,but for the life of me i cant see it anywhere,,mi box is coming up to 11mths now so ime starting to wonder if old faithfull is going to leave me with a a black screen,,looked in system info and is latest software,,any help would be greatly apreciated:iamwithstupid:

it should start from the date the box is first registered with the spdr srvr , so basically yes, as soon as you activate the ethernet section and login with the 250mc + mac code login

mine still working at 16 months on so I don't think there's a 12 month time **** if that's what you meant. However last switch off for older boxes was indiscriminate judging by the posts at the time.

my mates is still working after nearly 24 months he didnt put the last 2 patches on it as hes scared it will knock ethernet off

i wish he had worked to keep mine working
