What happens when you install a plugin, the message says it has installed OK but when the GUI is restarted there is no sign of the Plugin? If you use a tool such as Tspanel to remove packages you can see the Plugin package is sitting in your box.
Is there a way of testing these plugins to see if they are functioning even if there is no access to them via the Plugins panel?
Next question is if they are not visible in the Plugin panel is there the risk these plugins are back doors to your box?
