OK - this is probably going to be confusing .. not thought how to write
latest update to OoZooN (and therefore I assume all other cvs images)
there is a new menu entry
menu|setup|system|storage devices
supposedly there to make things easier to setup devices. (hmmm ....)
I had setup fstab as normal, with my hdd - but it wasn't in that menu and /media/hdd did not exist)
then set it up using the menu - it makes an entry in the /etc/enigma2/settings file and creates /media/hdd
the entry is based on the uuid of the device
there are a load of extra entries now in the settings file!
not yet sure if fstab is now used (and I have to ask - if not, why not)

I would like it if 'they' told us about the changes - it makes updating difficult.

Latest oozoon is still using the same old kernel, but has newest enigma. I would wait for the new kernel releases.

this is going to cause problems for a while
if you have backed up your settings (and bouquets) using dreamboxedit (or even a normal backup)
a restore will restore the OLD settings file - which won't have the new device info!

I normally move any older backups to another directory, leaving only the latest one in place. This means it can only install that one on restore.

just goes to show, should check the menus when you update the box!!

there is now a blind scan option in the manual service search menu!!!!!
