s3500 hd newbie to all this

2 days of research later I decided to take my s3500 out of the box and have a go (i am literally learning from scratch with all this). i'm up for the challenge and would be gratefull to be pointed towards any decnd discussions for beginnners,

i started from scratch with an s3500hd about a month ago and did not find any complete guides, just get the dish pointing at the satallite and go for a scan.

took me three attempts till i got astra 19.2e, you can only tell what satallite you are facing by what channels you have, you can look at lyngsat.com to compare them

then just google any problems you come across, if still no help then come here and ask specific questions

Find the plugin you want in plugins section.
Load on USB stick
Insert in usb port of 3500
switch on - then red to download plugin.
channel list is FDU file - new one just been put up. do the same for this.

then its time to add your line.
