Premium Sat Tuner

Hi,

I am having intermittent problems with my sat tuner in my Premium box. Getting a message box saying "tuner failed". I have searched google for an explanation and all the answers seem to point to a faulty tuner. Does anyone know where i can buy a new sat tuner or suggest any other solution. The signal will be at 88% then the picture will freeze and signal will be 0%.

I am running RTI Core 1.6.

You will get the same message if the signal from the LNB or dish is fading in and out.

So I suggest you check the LNB, dish alignment & LNB cables & connections first.

And after that re-fit the tuner inside the Premium ( some times they become a bit loose in Premium and Elite )

Got it working again. Turned out to be LNB. Thanks for your help

i cannot download all the channels on 28.2' east iget 459 services i have installed a new tuner and a new sat.xml file but still the same any body can help
