tt1 v2 updates ?

Hi guys please help i have a fairly old tomtom one v2 and want to update the maps, could anyone please tell me how this is done. I am totally new to this so a very easy to follow method would be appreciated. The version i have is 7.903 and the maps at the moment are; UK and ROI v660.1199 Thanks guys Gazza.

Thanks Russell but will that work on a tomtom one v2 as it only seemed to mention tomtom go? Sorry if i sound a bit dumb but this is quite new to me. Cheers Gary.

Yes it will work on all of the older tomtom units

Patch the ttsystem file as per the guide

Then you can add this map
United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland v885.4010
