I only loaded half the key and it still worked, the key had 16 pairs of digits, I only loaded 8 pairs and it still worked.

Is the biss key now and next ?

If you look at the key again, you will see that the 2nd set of 8 digits are the same as the 1st set of 8 digits, I believe one set are for audio and the other set for video

this is not the case.

years ago keys used to be just 8 digits like N1,but as encryptions moved on so did the amount of keys.ie 16 digits like N2.

as encryptions moved on so did emulators and there ability to handle the larger keys.
but biss is an old system that still uses the original 8 digits,so you enter it twice to fill up the spaces in the emulator as some wont work unless all 16 digits are used.

Menu > Key Edit >
CAS Type> BISS >
Press add (yellow button) add the channel frequency (in this case 11387)
Leave the ECM Pid 0000
Now enter the keys in the key data>
then Exit >Save
scroll down to Save again
Exit
