Permanant Green screen!

Hi Can anyone help please? MY VU+ has a permanant green screen and will not clear even after reboot, and I cannot seem to do anything with it and would apprieciate some help.:07:

Did you change the skin or something and that caused the green screen on gui restart ?

Remove power cord. Wait ten minutes. Plug in again and make a note of every step and messages onscreen and messages on the display on the front of the VU+Duo.

Then post those details here.

Could be a full flash also if you are saving epg and picons to flash.

Thanks for the response guys. The problem started when I tried to set the timer last night. I have rebooted the box many times now and even left it off all night. I have just tried your suggestion Burnham and I still get the same reaction from the box( Front display messages Starting, then VU+ Duo) On screen display (Is switching between green with a rotating VIX & the VIX st rt up screen open VIX VU+ DUO Loading). I have tried to reflash the image and the box just goes through the same process in the brackets above.

Remove your hdd ( if fitted ) all other cables and USB devices and try and flash an original image.

Thanks Sonic where can i find the image i can download. I have been looking and even followed a link but i am getting an error.

Thanks Sonic Thats got it up and running again, can i reload everything again now, and do you know what may of caused this in the first place?

Cheers for the image I just realised what i did wrong but got it up and running again now, can i reload eveything back on now?, and what do you think caused this?
