harddrive problem

hi all
i have installed 1tb samsung hard drive in my vuduo.i formated it then initialized it and all was good but when power is lost to vu duo such as a power cut the hard drnot reconized and i have to initialize it again and all is lost on hard drive.any ideas?

Not brill on this side of things, but how about looking at the mount point of the HDD?

The new enigma systems are absolutely useless when it comes to HDDs and devices and how they keep forgetting where the devices can be found. However the coders seem to be finding ways around it and the latest Blackhole image device control allows you to map the HDD. Still not quite right because a reboot is sometimes needed to find a lost HDD but at least you dont need to initialise to recover.

Never seen a Vu+ so this may not be any help but as Jim says on Blackhole image you need to map, but I have just stuck a Pli image on my 8000 and HDD was able to record and playback without any extra input needed.
