vantage problems

hi
i have a vantage 8000s resiver and upgrade firmware to MediaStarVantage_027500.dlp by usb and i want to upgrade to jepssen 8000 (x02.55.01_VANTAGE_XX00HD_IRDETO2 _DEB_ERSIN70) and i used it before but after then i upgrade firmware to MediaStarVantage_027500.dlp i cant use this file (x02.55.01_VANTAGE_XX00HD_IRDETO2 _DEB_ERSIN70) because it say its a difrent file or damaged what shoud i do?

You load 02.68.00_Vantage_auf_Mediastar_ba ck.hdp first. :)
then you can load 02.55.01_VANTAGE_XX00HD_IRDETO2 _DEB_ERSIN70.hdp

thank you I tryed it but its not working
when I used it sayed : diffrent version S/W sellect correct
jost this one is right : MediaStarVantage_027500.dlp

Not sure mate, but you could try a factory reset..
But first you must save Channel Data and System Data on your USB stick.

Anyway little confused about the firmvare you say you have on Vantage (MediaStarVantage_027500.dlp)
as it's dlp.file it should be original firm and strange it is called MediaStarVantage then...

Could you post that file here or give a masked link to where you got it??

I Tryed The Factory Reset And Used evry Orginal And Emu FirmWares I fond But They Dont Working
I Used This : Vantage_025802.hdp Vantage_026600.dlp vantage_026800.dlp Vantage_027500.dlp Vantage_027700.dlp Vantage_027800.dlp Vantage_028100.dlp Vantage_020802.hdp Vantage_025701_a.hdp MediaStar_027500.dlp and any ones dont working

Ok, thanks for posting file.. seems like you tried every thing mate,
but if you will try one last shot i post this Vantage_020603.file..
just load it down_unrar it and try loading.

If this don't work, i have no more suggestions.

i Got your massage Wolves and i dont remmber where I found It I searched Every where in internet but i couldent found anythink
Before upgrading i could use upgrading by Ok on the file or red button but after that no
i tryed every firmwares i fond for my resiver but they dont working When trying with RS-232 it says " Timeout error " and
When i try with USB, red button works like UP/Down key and if i press ok button it say Diffrent Model S/W or Damaged sellect Correct

but it says " Timeout error " and another think : when i upgrade with Channel Editor programe and switch the rear panel selector in position “ON”
there isnt any sign of resiver upgrading and resiver is in normal way ( booting --- wellcome --- "canal name" ) not Downloading- DL Main- 0 to 100%

Hello again.

You can try this..

1. Connect you box to your local network (router), dhcp works for me fine, box gets ip and is online

2. Go to the Vantage Menu, choose Ethernet_ FTP Explorer_connect to Vantage Site_open Firmware folder_ navigate to Vantage_027700.dlp and press OK_file is now being downloaded and should afterwards be flashed into the box..

Hope this works, other wise i have no more suggestions..

I am Very Sorry But I Tryed this way too but after i download the Vantage_027700.dlp with vantage explorer to my HDD its Dont upgrade with that too and it sayed Diffrent Model S/W or Damaged sellect Correct again but i download it by resiver and should be match with resiver but didnt worked

That's to bad mate, seems like the "MediaStarVantage_027500.dlp" could have corrupted your Vantage.. :frown:

what is that mean exucly ?
you mean it distroyed my resivers flash or somethink like that ?
but when i use the " MediaStarVantage_027500.dlp " s file its working like i upgrading
