TM 500s

Just got one of these to have a play wityh, quite different from my VU etc, what I miss is the ability to edit/ftp that I get with E!/E2 Dreambox control centre. Is it me ,can this be made to work with TM 500s or is mthere a sijilar piece of software that works in a similar fashion.

Once you've given yourself a password with Technomate control centre you can use with DCC, just the same as DM500.
I only use the TM software to load images, everything else is done with DCC 1.3.2. and DreamBox edit.

Pretty much every other software that works with an E2 receiver should work with the E1 TM500s, I have one also and all my programs that i use work with it no problem

you should be able to use DCC as digicon says, or any ftp program like flash fxp or filezilla , same as on any linux box , definitely work ok on my tm9100

dreamboxedit and dreamset should also work ok too , so I cannot see why you cannot use the standard tools we all use on this E1 box same as we do on E2 boxes

Thanks for all your replies, I will try and see where I can enter a password as telnet doesn't come up in DCC .Dcc finds my box and connects OK but the left hand panel ( The Box ) remains blank,and I can' use telnet to enter a passwd.

As i said "Once you've given yourself a password with Technomate control centre" you will use that password to log into DCC.
