ftp the config file to your pc , open it with notepad plus , edit the line , and ftp it back overwriting the previous file

your customer should be doing this !! we dont support commercial traders on this forum , especially where c lines are concerned

Hi Echelon,

am trying to FTP to my Icecrypt 3500 with FlashFXP but when I connect to the ip address of box, it does not give me any folders or files to view, do I need a username & password for this box using FTP?

Right have found out that Username is root & password is icecrypt.

Found the cardclient.conf in var/etc/protect, have ftp it to my desktop but what should my cline look like when I edit the config?

Should it be like this:

C: hotlink.dyndns-server.com 14000 calisto1 calisto1

or like this

cccam2:C: hotlink.dyndns-server.com 14000 calisto1 calisto1

& then restart Xcam client?

Your cline in the cardclient.conf should look like cccam2:hotlink.dyndns-server.com:14000:0/0/0:calisto1:calisto1
