hd channels

Hi my friend has a spider box 9000hd and all the channels are fine apart
from the bbc hd and itvhd and channel4 hd all have sound picture comes up
as scrambled connected by hdmi cable to hd telly he only has astra 28 degrees
and its not patched can any one help

should work without problems if he has the correct transponders programmed in and providing the itv1HD channel is not one of the scrambled ones

here are mine that are all working ok

bbc1HD = 10847V 23000 ID 6941
bbcHD = 10847V 23000 ID 6940
itv1HD = 10935V 22000 ID 3851
c4HD = 11127V 22000 ID 21200

hi thanks but still nothing i have donr fastory reset and scanned
again still coming up as scrambled on hd channels ,i am not sure
what the id 6941 is or how to apply it

Try manually scanning them in, ensure you're on Astra 2, 28.2E, go into the Spiderbox menu, select Manual Scan, press the Green button and enter/select the following:
Satellite: Astra 2 28.2E
Frequency: 10847
Symbol Rate: 23000
Polarization: Vertical
Modulation: DVB-S2 QPSK
Pilots: Off
FEC 8/9
Search Options: One TP
Now start search
What are your signal strength/quality readings?
Do the BBC HD channels clear?
If so press the green button and enter the other frequencies supplied by echelon

press OK on the channel , then also press info too , and the channel details all come up including the service ID

I also listed a link for my current channel list and that has those channels already scanned in

hi thanks for your answer but nothing has changed hd channels still with
sound no picture done exactly as you said i have 98 % signal and 85%
have tried scart and hd cables and info is service is 6940 vid pid is 5500
audio is 5501 pcr is 5500 so i am a loss as to why this is happening

is correct for bbcHD and is working here

have you tried my new channel list ?

have you tried turning it off for 2 minutes on the rear mains switch , then turning it back on again ?

yes i have tried that must be a fault with spider box all the sd channels
are good i myself have a protek and it is perfect so i dont know dont think there
is anything else i can do thanks

you could start from scratch ie a factory reset, load latest patch, etc I use a channel list by billlybits from another forum and find it great and he has a new one. if that fails its a faulty box
