icecrypt s4000hd breakup on HD channels

Hi all I am having a few problems with the icecrypt 4000hd I have just bought .When i put it on a HD channel on SLY I get picture breakup and stutters but when i put it back on same channel not HD its perfect .I have downloaded the latest update to see if this would help but can not get it to install on box .it says usb found but will not do anything else (have tried all usbs and different drives) can anybody help please

its a common problem as a few of us have mentioned, and seems to affect some HD channels (no idea why)

coldasice has reported about it recently in his replies to me

as for the latest update, make sure you have the latest bootloader 1.54 on your box first, then try installing the latest april 2012 beta update from a usb stick formatted to fat32

Hi frankpark,

Can you check this out.
28e S@y films HD, my VU+ Uno quality Sig
has droped from 81% to 54% on 80cm dish.
In the same (S@Y HD UK) section, channel 4 HD has
a Quality Signal of (99%).
I like you today had Picture breakeup on HD Channels 28e.
At the same time Channel 4 HD had a 99% Sig feed
and no breakup.

thanks for your help not a 100 percent certain on where to get or how to load 1.54 bootloader on my icecrypt 4000hd its new to me .gratefull of any help given

check the plugins , tools etc section here

and the april firmware is in another thread in this forum

the bootloader is loaded from usb stick , or maybe you can use porter express

so check all the icecrypt forums here, because if you dont look you wont find !


you will see the current bootloader on the led screen at boot time, from switching on
