I have a HTC HD2 running windows 6.5 and would like to run it together with a good android os with this phone which I heard might be the FroyoStone Sense V3.2 ROM which has a good UI and has less bugs on it, you can correct me if I'm wrong on this. Also I would to like to switch between the two as painlessly as possible when I dual boot or other means when I switch between windows and android. I've never installed an android on my phone before so I'm all new to this. I want to hang onto my windows 6.5 because I'm using tomtom on it which cannot be used on the android.:banghead:

I have the same phone and will never give it up because it is one of the only phones on the planet where you can multiboot.

all the ROMs for it are posted here:

_http://android.hd2roms.com/

If you follow the thread links in each you will get to the XDA forum where there are step by step how to threads that show you how to do what you are seeking to do. You CAN keep 6.5 in the main ROM and boot Android from SD card.

Here are a couple of how to links:

Just a quick update on my phone: I went onto the xda developers site to read and check out the roms for my hd2. Managed to install the ice cream sandwich rom which is the Unofficial AOKP m5 (AKA IceCreamTostidroid. But before doing that I had to flash update my phone with HSPL3 then flash it again to update the radio id to allow it to work with the android roms. I tried another rom before this one but it was buggy, camera and gprs did not work but this one seems stable and more or less everything on the phone is working. Thanks for the info and I'm glad to be part of this friendly and helpful community.:respect-013:
