how do l tell if my positions are north west east or south when l set up in usuals?

l live in Dartford Kent uk?

Try dishpointer.com, enter your postcode and it will supply you with your Latitude, & Longitude, position. Negative longitude positions = West, positive = East.

the uk is always north as we are located north of the equator ! (in the northern hemisphere)

your only other problem is where your location is in relation to the greenwich meridian (in greenwich, london)

I think I saw another post of yours, elsewhere, and you have found your latitude, & longitude. As I have already mentioned posivive longitude readings are East, and if I remember correctly yours was something close to 0.34E.
Go into the Spiderbox menu, select Motor Setup, press the Green button and enter your Longitude, and Latitude.

my readings are latidtude 51.3943 and logitude 0.3382 but does not say whether positive or negative?

thanks but what is positive and what is negative of my numbers there is no plus or minus signs given with the readings

positive numbers do not have signs , so 2 + 2 = 4 are all positive numbers , whereas -2 + -3 shows a sum that has 2 negative numbers

so the fact that no sign is given indicates a positive number ;)
