Surprised that the scan on my TM doesnt pick up as many channels as my Toshiba TV scan (same ariel) doesnt get the "CONNECT" channels (whatever they are) TM gets 37 chans and TV picks up 57. Cant think of a reason?

The tuner sensitivity are differant on all bits of kit, back in april when a-nalogue closed my tv tuned ok but two of my terrestrial boxes wouldn't tune in BBC 1 or 2, the bar graph showed the signal had halved from before.

Before a-nalogue closedown they said the signal would be stronger afterward, in practise it is weaker.

Make sure any splitters are balanced or put a booster on the aerial at the point it enters the house, this worked for me.

My transmitter is Sudbury and they have been transmitting some "Muxes"? on low (39%) signal strength. Just strange that a TM is so much worse than a built in TV reciever? LOcal lady complained in the local paper that she could get *** channels but not ITV? priorities??

My TV has both SD and HD channels though, whereas the TM has a far smaller tuning range?:respect-051:
