NEW:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: ::: Very Stable MGCAMD 1.38a

MGCAMD 1.38a Plugin is fully compiled for the Icecrypt S3500HDCCI, S3550HDCCI, S3600HDCCI, STC 6000 HD PVR

Instructions.

1. Download the plugin.zip file.
2. Unzip the file named plugin.zip and save this to your desktop
3. Double click on the file you have saved on your desktop i.e plugin.
4. Once you have doubled clicked on the plugin file you will see the following files,,,, bin,,,etc,,,keys
5. Double click on Keys.
6. Right click your mouse on newcamd.list and open it in notepad
7. If adding keys the layout is as followings CWS = URL PORT USERNAME PASSWORD 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
8. Replace the URL with your own URL i.e example.... free.systes.net
9. Replace the PORT with your own PORT i.e example..... 10001
10. Replace the USERNAME with your own USERNAME i.e example.... joe
11. Replace the PASSWORD with your own PASSWORD i.e example...... bloggs
12. The DES KEY is normally 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 but change if you have changed your own DES KEY
13. Once you have done the above It should end up looking like this (example) : CWS= free.systes.net 10001 joe bloggs 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 click file then click save.
14. Close everything down.
15. Copy the Plugin file off your desktop on to a Blank USB Pen.
16. Insert this into your Icecrypt S3500HDCCI, S3550HDCCI, S3600HDCCI, STC 6000 HD PVR
17. Wait for an on screen message that says PLUGIN once you see this press the RED button on the remote control.
18. The plugin will now install.
19. Wait for the box to reboot.
20. Press MENU on the remote control.
21. Go to Plugins
21. You will see MGCAMD in this screen
22. Press the RED button and select it to AUTO
23. Press the GREEN button to start MGCAMD.

MGCAMD is far more stable than CCCAM or XCAM.

Could somebody clear a few things up for me please ,the port you need to select where do I find this out ,the password do you just pick a password or is there a default password that you change ,the same with the username is there a default that you change or do you just pick one

The port, username etc is given to you via a c/n-line (card sharing). Can't say further more as not allowed on forum :)

I have 5 lines I did this.

this installed but didnt work could someone please tell me if it was right much appreciated

Hi Dobbin.

If its used for an client, edit the mg.cfg file to have MGcamd used this way G: { 01 }.

That should sort it out.

it is possible to use mgcamd to enter clines, it looks like it but everytime i enter one using mgcamdconfigure it does not remember it, i tried adding a cccam.list file but that did not work either

Zoot if your using this MGcamd plugin you need to be on V*.10.67 or earlier firmware as it hasn't been updated for the newer API layer.

The latest plugin dated 21OCT2012 bundle now has an updated MGcamd but no MGcamd config so you need to either ftp your lines into the MGcam once installed or edit them into the plugin bundle(use notepad to edit the CWS, in the newcamd.list, in the keys folder) before installing it.
Tested and working with the later firmwares now though!

What about other ICECRYPT models support? I'm interested about Icecrypt T2300HD. Soon we have here some HDTV channels and sure, they are crypted. Icecrypt T2300HD unfortunately don't have card reader. So the mgcamd may be solution. If I have official card on other receiver then I can watch if You give support..

Has anyone managed to get a mgcamd config file working on the ice4000? If so, any chance of an upload please. Have tried the config file within this plugin but hangs the box forcing a hard reboot. Have been ftp'ing across but would prefer the remote method. Thanks

INSTRUCTIONS to use C Lines with MgCAMD:

Crate a new file called ccamd.list (you must create it in /var/keys/cccamd.list ) and put in your c-lines.
In /var/keys/mg_cfg you need to change:
G into {33} to be able to use the lines from newcamd.list and cccamd.list at same time.
G : {32} if you only want to use cccamdlist c-lines
G: {01} if you only want to use newcamdlist n-lines.
