Conecting 2 receivers to twin lnb

Hi

I have a dreambox connected to a motorised dish and the LNB is powered from it in the menu. There is a second cable from the dish, if I connect that to my AZbox, how do I set the power settings for the 2nd receiver?

Do I send power to the LNB from both receivers or should only one do that? I dont want to short circuit the lnb.

You have to set it up as a mormal LNB in the Azbox. It needs the change in voltage to switch between Horizontal and Vertical TPs. If there's no power to the 2nd LNB o/p, it won't work.

This is a very common configuration - twin LNB to two separate receivers.

You won't short circuit the LNB, just set it up as described above.
