Hi
I have a message every morning on my display (DVB Services) anyone know why and how to get rid of it. I thought it was something to do with my EPG settings, but turned this off at the weekend and still getting this on my display!

i had this problem as well ,think it was something to do with timer which i had set by accident .just had to switch it off

I have the same problem....my Duo appears to switch into radio mode overnight, it's easy enough to get back to TV services using the remote but I agree it is annoying !

It is something to do with my EPG Downloader. I have it set to run automatically early AM everyday and this is stored as a timer. i deleted it in the timer menu and i didn't get the DVB Service message the next morning, but the auto EPG Downloader didn't run either!

Hi Btooky666,
I agree with you that it is to do with the EPG program. I have now managed to get the B/H EPG to run "properly" showing a weeks worth of programs and updating them daily. Don't ask me what settings I altered ( I tried everything) but suffice it to say that with the EPG running correctly the DVB Service message is not displayed on the front of the VU and the receiver does not slip into the "Sid not found in Pat" mode. We could do with some kind person giving us a full "How to Tutorial" on setting up the EPG program.

And two weeks later it's still working properly! I reached a stage where, in desperation, I contacted the company that supplied me with my Vu+ Duo saying that "the receiver was obviously faulty" and I wanted to return it. They were NOT keen on having it back for repair. However since getting the EPG on Black Hole image working correctly I am now more than happy with the VU. :applause-003:

there is a prob with black hole, i got this 3 days from new, then it failed to find hard drive went back to supplier came back with vix software which is far better
