Run s4000 as a server?

Hi all, i've just spent the last half/full hour or so going through the ice forums regarding running the ice as a server for sly card but couldnt find anything or was dated back to 2010. Basically want to place the ice downstairs with the sly card and c/s upstairs via home network. Have managed to run dm500 as a server and ice as an client but want it the other way around. Please could someone advise if this is possible and what cams to use ALSO will the sly card update within the ice or need to be placed back into the sly box for 48hrs?.

You could also use my oscam plugin, no need for octagon software, see the plugin section...
