Wifi connection

Hi Guys
every so often I have to appear the numpty that I really am.
My 8000 is connected via ethernet cable to the net and all works well.
My new 7020Hd has a small wifi dongle and when i set it up via network wizard box says it is connected to the internet - settings for both boxes as- use interface yes/use dHCP no/BoxIP/netmask 255.255.255.0/use a gateway yes/gateway IP/hidden network -no/router name/encryption WPAor WPA2 and encryption key.
It will slowly connect with DBedit and download bouquets - IDreamX will NOT find the box though. Any idea anyone? Many thanks for any help - Cheers - Brain

Try just WPA2 with AES, mixed would not work correctly on my VU+

thanks for that BUT whether I use WPA or WPA2 it a. does allow the DBedit to work faster; and the box can downline DB code or other things from the plugins BUT Idreamx is going at about 10' to load anything if it even does! It works fine on the 8000 - 10-20 secs - it is really bizarre! And I am not to keen to have a much longer key than 8 characters
