NEMESIS 2.6 DM800 SVN 108r IMAGE

I just flashed this image into my dm800 hd clone with no problems then I ftp into the system to locate CCcam.cfg file in the etc folder but it wasn't there also where on the nemesis menu can I download the softcams, the nemesis already has a sotfcam which is DCCamd so can anyone shed some light these? Thanks.

If it is the same for the clone as for the orig 800 I would recommend you google for nemesis extra[ I think it still exists but someone will correct me if I am wrong and FTP that into the image - you then have access to all the packages you need online. Good Luck - Brain

I've got hold of the extras url and ftp it and downloaded cccam 2.14 with success. I've gone back into the etc folder and the CCcam.cfg file has not appeared, instead CCcam.channelinfo and CCcam.providers file has appeared. where do go from here?

ok you've found 'download extra' and 'e2Emu' and got cccam 2.14
so now try 'download extra' and 'e2Config' ;)

After trying some images for my dm800hd clone I have to say the nemesis image is one of the best ones out there. I'm now very settled with it and will be sticking to it for now. The image I'm using is: Sat4Fun-EDG-Nemsis_2.6-DM800-2012-05-13-Sim2-SSL-84b which is patched and includes Ts Panel, extra url, Cccam 2.1.3, MGcamd 135a and cateye setting. Ts panel will allow you to download youtube player, weather and football updates and more. It will recognize your internal hard disk but you may have to mount it to the correct path which can done easy from the menu. Overall a great and stable image.:king-041:

A way to avoid getting audio descriptive as main audio on 28.2e is to go into 'setup', 'system', 'A/V settings' and change 'AC3 default' to 'yes'. This will stop permanently stop audio descriptive on the HD channels. Also make sure 'AC3 downmix' is set to 'yes' if you are not using a 5.1 amp.

you can press help button on the remote and scroll down to audio options from the list which will let you switch off NAR. The button mappings for the remotes are different on some images.

also, any of the addon sites got an up to date oscam installer ? (tbz2 or ipk I think)

thats because a lot of the sd channels have only got mpeg audio, although i think the movies have ac3
on the dreambox remote there's an audio button (above the red button)
can't help with addon servers having up to date oscams as i dont install that way

thanks, its HELP on my black remote but a google search sorted it (and I checked using my original remote too)

what I was thinking was if any of the addon servers had a suitable oscam I would install that way

alternatively, I am looking for an oscam like 7188 in the form of a tbz2 installer so I can ftp to var/tmp and install that way

I would like the info under blue button to say oscam or oscam7 or whatever, and the bin file to say oscam so I can overwrite it with a newer one as required

ie:- so it doesnt say oscam 6174 or oscam 7188 in the heading under cardservers, just oscam7 or oscam or some non-descript name

I can ftp the configs ot tuxbox so its just the script etc that allows you to select and run oscam, in the form of a tbz2 installer from var/tmp

seems an excellent skin as you say, very good info onscreen and very clear too

this skin stops my coloured buttons from working on my original dm800, the menus show on the OLED display but not onscreen, had to revert back to default skin for now

tried this now on my clone dm800 pro sim 2.01 and now it hangs on boot with the bootlogo and an intermittent spinner

I can login to oscam and ftp into the box but no picture on screen

I now need to find a way of removing this skin and making it boot the default skin

ftp into /usr/share/enigma2/ find the directory with the name of the skin thats causing the problem and delete it.

Reboot your box and it should then go back to using the default skin and boot as normal.

and the flash memory showed little or no space left after installing that skin to the flash

I suspect I will have to reflash it from the webif, but as my settings are backed up and using latest catseye lists it wont be a big job and I need the practice, one reason for buying the second hand clone was to keep my hand in and keep up to date, as well as having a full backup unit with same settings on both

No worries, it should work fine on the original (should you run into the problem again on that box), but not sure why it doesn't work on the clone, unless there is alot of hacking about of the OS to get it running on clones (good possability I guess).

Still atleast you have a backup now and also your getting in some practice :D

I had the same problem with my dm800 clone with the boot logo and boot loop, but after flashing it again its working fine now. It's best if you use this skin on the clone, my coloured buttons and menu display are all working fine. To remove the skin I've updated the TSpanel to version 6.1 then click on TSpanel then tools-1 then uninstaller then select remove skin.:respect-057:

I have been to a few places including the ones you mentioned to check this clone 800 out

what I have noticed is a failure to boot properly after the second stage, sometimes it takes a few reboots and then the boot loop occurs

also, if you online update the clone image it fails telling you to switch off, so dont update online either (original 800 updates fine)

differences between the two

I have installed and updated my original 800 using edg images and not had any trouble at all with it, it installs , it boots, it updates , emus and plugins install and work, the only caveat is there isnt much flash space left for the plugins once the images are installed. basically it was trouble free

the clone however, gives me all kinds of different problems, usually just as you are about finished installing catseye settings, plugins , emus and tspanel etc

I have tried various images up to now with varying results, although the first one you pointed me at seems not too bad

at the moment I installed a sunray sim2 image onto it, managed to reconfigure it to give me what I want like ecm info inscreen (using the window option) and tspanel 6.1 , cccam and catseye settings. I also find this image means the clone black remote is more responsive than any other clone images I have tried, and the remote works fine on the original box so its not the remote

gripes:- I cannot make it backup the flash image without crashing, and I cannot get it working under oe16 oscam , only under oe15 oscam , probably a drivers issue

if I can back it up I will try some newer ones to see if I can get oe16 oscam to work like on edg on the original

so comparing the two boxes, my original is a breeze to setup compared to the clone, and I assume this is mainly due to anti clone measures, as when it works its fine

but when I reboot the clone I always wonder if it will complete the reboot or not, but never worry about the original booting up

so its interesting to see the differences, and the clones seem more work to me, even when trying the same images, albeit the patched version for the clone

ive no complaints at all about this image im also running it on my Dm500HD original ..i dont use clone boxes only originals as ive been stung way too many times already but im quite plzed with this new upgrade image version .

I only bought the clone dm800 pro sim 2.01 as it was cheap at less than a ton and as a backup for my main machine so I could update it and get it running better and to transplant it into a new housing too

the original dm800 is now on a similar edg 110r0 dated 23 july 2012 to yours but was on an old BH image before so couldnt run oe16 oscam

the clone is going to be my backup device as well as being used for testing stuff out, and as it was cheap with 2 remotes included in the price I thought I may as well buy it as my original remote was playing up anyway (now seems ok again). for the price I paid (second hand) I cannot grumble, but give me an original dreambox anytime !
