epg

hi chaps,
is there a better epg around than the one installed,
when pressing green it is pretty limited and rarely shows up very much info[on mine anyway?
i do realise there is an info button also. tia

as I have mentioned several times before, this 3rd party epg system sucks on the spiderbox and I gave it up last year as a bad deal

it was only ever as good as the people who maintain that download server, which used to be ok for dreamboxes and tm9100 but got worse in 2011 and generally failed the update procedure when I tried it on my spiderbox

standard sat boxes with no epg system rely on now and next (the free offering)

I know it's not perfect but contents for some channels are good. What I find irritating is that the epg affects and breaks up the sound whilst it is loading programme details and can this can only be corrected by changing channels.
