Can not find all services in Vu+ Ultimo

In the past i used DM 7000 but now i bought new Vu+ ultimo. I have service scan problem. I tried manual BH service scan on astra 2b, because i love BBC radio channels. Cant find those channels like BBC R1, BBC R2 etc. On Hotbird 13 i cant find Rai radio 2. On Atlantic bird 3 i cant find free TV channel France 2 - 11591 V. In Eutelsat seset w4 36,0 and sirius 4 (4.8E) cand find many useful channels from my country like viasat package LTV1, LYV7, TV3, LNT etc. By using blindscan i can find more channels but not all of them (mentioned above). My DM 7000 had no problem with service scan?

Here is my tuner configuration:
From first cable i have 6 LNBs (tuner A):
Astra 19.2E
Eutelsat seset w4 36,0
Hotbird 6 13
Sirius4 4.8E
Eurobird astra 2b 2a 28.2E
Atlantic Bird 3 (5W)

Second cable is connected to Tuner B:
Astra 19.2E

I receive Astra 19.2 from twin LNB.

I installed Black hole latest version. I did following steps:.

Configured 6 LNBs in advanced mode for tuner A and for Tuner B one LNB in single mode:

Before i uploaded catseye E2 channels:
Press Green Button then Yellow Button.
Select Settings.
Select Channel List you want to install and Press OK.
When prompted "do you want to install channel list" select "Yes"

Anda s last i tried to scan services.

Of course i found BBC R1 from catseye channel list but it is not working for me.

The second problem TV screen is shifted left so i can see first 4 letters. I have sony trinitron TV.

If you look in tuner A advanced setup, you haven't told it you have a diseqc switch (it thinks your using a motor), where it says committed diseqc command, you need to give it info (AA, AB, BA, BB etc etc etc for each lnb).

I dont have motorized dish if You mean that. I have 5 LNBs + 1 twin LNB on my dish. So i have 6 LNBs (A tuner) in first cable and signal from twin LNB in the second cable (B tuner)

I know you don't have a motor, but your box doesn't know that, because you haven't told it so.

As I said in last post, under advanced settings, you need to go to committed diseqc command, and change it to AA for first sat on the switch, AB for 2nd sat, BA for 3rd sat etc etc or input 1, input 2 etc etc until each sat on tuner A has it's own input set (so lnb1 = AA, or input1, lnb 2 = AB or input 2, you need to do this for all 5 on tuner A).

I tried tuner settings as You told and scanned hotbird 13 manual with blindscan plugin and then with BH service scan. Zero channels found. tuner settings are in attached jpgs for A tuner and for B tuner separately

I removed the uncommitted diseqc command and i really got hotbird 13E channels but not all of them (as example rai radio 2). Then i tried to scan astra2b again by using removed uncommitted diseqc command and got no BBC radio channels. Do you have an updated satellite.xml so it knows which frequency's to scan (blind scan isn't perfect, there are still a few bugs in it which vu+ need to sort out as it's there plugin) ?

Also I would setup your diseqc switch 1 input at a time, so whatever is first, get that working, then add the next 1 in the settings (so for example, input1 = 19e, so set 19e as lnb1 committed commannd AA, do a scan, then when happy set input 2 = 36e, so lnb2 commmitted command AB, and do a scan), when happy add the next and so on. There is no need to reboot each time either.

I extracted it and uploaded to Vu+ ultimo by using Vu+ control centre.
This folder already contains satellites.xml. As example i checked rai sport 1 in my channel list i uploaded. The freq. 11804 V is okey.
As example i try to get Rai transponder 11804 V from hotbird 13E. As example Rai sport 1 free channel. cant get it.

Is it really so hard to find usual channels? Nothing special like RAI, VIASAT etc... On my DM 7000 all channels i needed were found.
By the way have You tried to receive RAI transponder 11804 V from hotbird 13E as one example. Maybe this problem is in all VU+ ultimo tuners? If those problem is unsolvable then i will bring it back to the shop.

IS hotbird the lnb connected to input 1 of your switch ?

If not, that is why you are not getting the correct channels, if 19e was on input 1, then it will scan the hotbird frequency's on 19e, hence only a few channels will be found (with a blindscan it ignores the satellites.xml file and does it's own thing and therefore finds more channels).

Yes but have you got hotbird as the first lnb on your switch ?

Change uncommitted Diseqc command back to None for all lnb's.

If i set NONE i cant get RAI and other channels i got recently. By this setting with NONE zero channels found in Atlantic bird 5w.

Something is wrong in your setup somewhere.

Try this: Setup tuner A

Configuration Mode = Simple
Mode Diseqc A/B/C/D
Port A 19e
Port B 36e
Port C 13e
Port D 4.8e

Just see if the first 4 satellites on your switch are working correctly.

I am out of ideas i'm afraid.

Your configuration is wrong somewhere along the line, my last suggestion is you manually conncect 1 feed at a time direct to your Ultimo to make sure all 6 satellites individually scan and give all channels.

If they do, you need to look at your switch and make sure you have them all connected to the correct ports that match the settings in your box.

maybe that helps. i checked my Dreambox settings that is working in DM. So it should be correct:
Many satellites via diseqc rotor (see attached)54656. Maybe You can tell what configuration it is for Vu+ ultimo.

Now i have following question. I have many unused folders from catseye settings. it is hard to find with my remote control my sat folders. How i can delete those folders. Tried to use DM edit but there i can delete only channels and empty folders are still there. I cant figure out how to create favorite TV bonquet with my name

But the problem with the last settings i mentioned is that i need to scan every transponder separately. If i scan satellite then i will find zero channels. It is very strange. But anyway it is better than nothing. Lot of work to enter all transponders.
