Dr.HD F15 software on TM5402?????

Has anyone tried to instal Dr.HD F15 software on TM5402?
In case of F16 and its brothers Clarketech 5000combo+ and TM6900super it was possible in this way:
1) Open firmware for f16 in hex editor
2) Offset 0000000010-00 you will have for firmware technomate 08, for f16 22, for CT 10
3) change it for 08
4) now your TM6900 will think that it is firmware for TM, and lets you instal it
08 - Technomate id
22 - Dr hd F16 id
10 - Clarktech id

I would be great to have dr.hd f15 software with spectrum analiyzer and hd GUI.

You obviously do for your own resposibility.

Just tried with my TM6900 super...didn't work, invalid STB file.

Didn't work for me either I used the F16 software as I think the F16 is a combo like the TM6900, I also tried changing the name of the STB file but I am not sure if I used the hex editor correctly as I have never done it before...I would have thought if the F15 software was usable on a Technomate it would have been on the TM6800 as this is the satellite only version if you consider the F16 is equivalent to the TM6900.

If anyone as the F15 on here some info would be nice...is the spectrum analyzer better then the Technomate, from what I have read the F15 allows the user to store new transponders found by the spectrum analyzer which you cannot do on the TM6900 that could be handy for feeds and worth getting one for.

I have the F15 and the Spectrum analyser is pretty good, as for the firmware loading onto a technomate i very much doubt it seeing as the F15's menu structure is more closely based on a Blade7000 than what it is to the technomate.

As for the F15 in general i love mine and its got a great sensitive tuner along the lines of the TM5402HD although support is a bit thin on the ground most of it is russian (Support) and they have only just released another firmware update after 6 months which is pretty slow, I dont use it as my main box just something to use for weak/fringe reception.

Hi Digicon and thanks for the info, I was looking at the Q&A on the manufacturers website and found this under the spectrum analyzer.

"You can also “zoom in” some specific frequency band, and discover some transponders not in current database (yellow-coloured peaks). So you can add them to database and blind-search them, so you will get the excusive up-to date TP database."

Which seems to confirm "the F15 allows the user to store new transponders found by the spectrum analyzer," is there anyway when you are using the F15 you could you be so kind as to test this on say one of the satellites that is known for feeds, if it does I will get one.
