Re:- Phantompatch TM-6000 Series non super: Phantompatch-TM6900HD_23-07-2012 -706p.

Just a thought, even though I dont actually have a non-super TM, surely there must be SOMEONE who 'has' got one on here - someone who can try this test patch 706P and report back - as per the other 'Super' series threads?
Hopefully at least ONE of you out there must have tried it by now and formed some opinions guys & gals?:respect-050:

It seems to do what it says on the tin. ie no freezing on fta german HD channels. Didn't know this was an issue but checked with 705 before I put it on and there was some slight freezing. Just been watching the fencing on ZDF HD.

Have tried 706p, and it does cure the slight freezing / jerkyness on the German channels, was very noticable on ZDF_NEO HD this morning. Had no HDMI problems, Alain.95 must have been unlucky.
Have seen similar problem on the 6900 Super especially on the Planette HD on 23e, can cure by pressing the menu button twice.

Good to have your reply thanks Ken, as I'd started to think that despite the many complaints from TM6000 non super owners that they had been neglected by Phantom & co. they weren't prepared to provide him with the much needed feedback for this test patch he needs, so he can then provide both npn super AND the rest of we TM owners with the much needed 'all-in' or universal patch we all so much desire!:grouphug:

After all the crap i've gone through in the last few months with my two linux boxes, i'm glad i've got my techy as it is faultless! Whether we get more support from phantom & Co. or not - still grateful that the patches are working and 8281 is superb!

One happy TM owner!

Unfortunately when I reported my findings above on the 706p software, I had not tried the PVR funtions!!
The audio is chopping when replaying old recordings.
EG on BBC lipsync test you will find almost half the "Clacks" are missing, and normal music / speech is unusable. I recorded a concert on 3sat Hd-- first time audio was unusable, so reloaded 706p then the 3satHD recording audio ok but old recordings unusable but results unpredictable--sometimes almost OK.
Tried 706 official same results, returning to 705p all back to normal.
cheers
