Avoid Pussnet like the plague unless you enjoy zero torrent downloads. I'd say Sky & TalkTalk are also best avoided as they are both shyte (yes cheap but shyte). Not sure CS would be an issue with either but would wonder about sharing for sly uk using sly BB (bit cheeky :) ) I am sure those of us, who are UK resisdents, would not be daft enough to risk jail by doing that anyway. LOL

Can confirm O2 was AOK and only reason I left to join BT was Fibre. No problems with BT and my Brother uses Virgin with no problems either.

Hope this helped a bit.

British call centres with o2 so billing and tech help is straight forward.

I'd just like to add that the spiderbox doesn't play ball very well with the SuperHub that Virgin give you when you get the 30Mbit+ package, this is especially the case if you're using wireless to connect to the router.

If you do get a superhub I'd advise that you put it in 'modem mode' (google "superhub modem mode") and pair it up with a cheap dlink / netgear router; otherwise you'd experience a fair bit of lag / glitching.

hi welshpaddy, im with a small cable broadband supplier and used to be with tiscali/talktalk, makes no difference. I would however avoid o2 now as they recently divulged user details of their users to a Pr0n company, Ben Dover/golden eye for piracy issues _bbc.co.uk/news/technology-18968223

I'm contemplating binning my Humax 2000HD with Diablo cam and buying a Spider 9900, but as I subscribe to Sly BB and after reading Donki's post about the risks of this, would I be well advised to change my BB provider or buy another tyoe of STB?

Would you recommend using another type of stb, for example a VU+UNO HD, with my SlyBB and would I be able to receive more Saturday footy channels than I get with my Diablo cam and fausto?
