For those interested.
Nasa have decided to stream a live feed of the landing of the Curiosity spacecraft to a big screen in Salford tomorrow morning.
Anyhow it looks like it is being broadcast on Telstar 15°w 11592v fec 3/4 SR 6510 for anyone interested (meant to start around 5.30am though).

Looks like the mission was a success ..
From Sky News :
Nasa's Curiosity rover has landed successfully on Mars and the most expensive and ambitious mission to reach the Red Planet is under way.
The $2.5bn rover made a dramatic touchdown to cheers among staff at mission control some 154 million miles away.
Nasa said it had received a signal from the most hi-tech Mars explorer ever built after a plunge through the Martian atmosphere described as "seven minutes of terror".
