Sport Tv Liga Inglesa not found

Hi All,
Running: Icecrypt S3500HD. I was trying to get 3pm epl games so tested a line this weekend. i receieve all expected channels except Sport Tv Liga Inglesa (the one i want). This channel isnt even listed on the channels found. I tried to manually find the service using info from lyngsat to no avail. Has anyone else experienced issue with this channel? Other Sport TV channels are working fine.

It would help if you were to state which Satellite and which Transponder you are referring to.

Hispasat i would imagine, 11891h 29000 showing up and open on my cccam spiderbox sport tv liga1

Or it could be Hispasat @ 30 West - 11731 H 30000 3/4 DVB-S2/8PSK, and is currently showing Premier League Archives.

11891h 29000 also ok and working here too, with various channels on it

Hi All
apologies for not giving more info. I thought this channel would only be on Hispasat 30w. I'm getting sport 1,2,3,4,golfe but no sign of liga inglesa. Tried manual scan on frequencies above with no joy. I'm stumped as to why the other sport tv channels work fine but not even listing the liga inglesa. This channel is the reason i got the line for the 3pm footy.
Any Ideas?

I cannot shed light on why you dont see them as I definitely do on my spiderbox

but one thing I must say is that least season they DID NOT have 3pm footy on them

all they transmitted was a message stating it was on the usual sport tv sport channels

It is named as Sport TV Liga Inglesa, so the name maybe shortened to appear like Sport TV Liga I, or some may think that it is 1.

Just tuned 11731H 30000 Sport Tv Liga Inglesa on a S3500 here no problem.
I had to add/edit the 11891H 29000 transponder detail as the existing list has it as the symbol rate as 27500.
Apart from that it all worked OK.
Make sure your using the latest firmware.

I cannot tell you what that company will do, only they can. I can tell you that they "used to" show matches on there with english commentary and I can tell you that although they were listed on there in the 2011/2012 footy season, they used the sport tv channels for the matches instead

but if coldasice can get them then so can you, but check the transponder settings like he did as your symbol rate may be incorrect

According to Flysat that frequency should read as follows:

11891 H 30000 5/6 DVB-S?MPEG2

Please input all of those details (You may not get MPEG2)

Hi all,
tried aldo and echelon suggestions. I'm hoping coldasice can help. I'm using 80cm dish from ireland and recieving all other tv cabo channels fine (watching nascar highlights on sport tv 3 as i type) but no sign of Liga inglesia. Once again i'm open to any suggestions and thanks for your help thus far.

Please read post #8 again, the program you seek is called Sport TV Liga Inglesa, and Not just Liga Inglesa.

not sure why you think something else could be tried ?

you have been given the correct tuning info by myself, and I even tested those channels on my spiderbox to ensure you were given the correct and working info too

so the tuning details have already been given for those channels, which work ok on my zone 2 sly dish with universal sly quad lnb here in the north west

also tested them on my 110 cm triax with universal inverto ultra black lnb and again no problem here, using the details I posted

its not as if there are several ways to tune them in , you have blindscan, or you have manual input of the details with manual scanning instead
mine are scanned in using the latter. coldasice tested this for you on the same box as you and he had no problems either

if you check my last reply you will also see that I mentioned testing it on a zone 2 dish , which is a 59cm dish used in ulster and scotland and I get excellent results with it so its smaller than yours - you seem to have overlooked that remark by me completely ! I hope you arent overlooking other remarks too ?

you could try a different lnb, you could ensure your skew is correct on the lnb , you could check you have no DECT phones nearby causing problems, it may be in your list already and you have not found it, it could be there are too many channels or transponders in your list causing you problems

I would agree that if the others are ok then you would think these 2 channels would work, but I also stated I had pilot = OFF in one reply whereas you had it ON but you never said what changing that setting may have done, if anything at all

as a matter of fact you have not made any reference to the difference in the 2 channels , one being HD and the other being SD

do you get none , one or both is the question you should be asking yourself, as they are on different transponders using different settings too
for clarity, here is my info on the HD one

11731 H 30000 , service id 420 , vpid 5785, apid 5786 , dvb-s2 8psk pilot off fec 3/4

I have 29 channels listed on that transponder , and the name is Sport TV Liga I

and the other one is

11891 H 29000 service id 1603 , vpid 7808 , apid 7809

you have also mentioned trying to get the latter, but never mentioned the former on 11731 like coldasice told you, and as I did, and I am watching that one now on a 59cm dish with excellent signal and quality

i dont know a lot about the receiver but you are now getting to the stage where it is either corrupt software or a dodgy box, if you can use pre-preapared channel lists you could try that, or delete the satellite and rescan the whole sat, or reset the box and reload everything. then get a new box if all else fails.

Hi All,
Just had large portion of humble pie for breakfast. In the hope it may help someone else I'll fess up.
When initially installing the dish I approximated the 16deg skew just to see if everything was connecting ok for setup. When I went to stb and scanned I had excellent signal and picked up the channels on first scan and was delighted with my efforts. As mentioned above I had all the sport tv channels except Liga Inglesa.

Yesterday I went back to basics in desperation and relaigned skew to ensure accuracy. A slight tweak on the lnb and rescan resulted in picking up the Liga Inglesa channel perfectly. I was amazed that I could pick up the others and not this one but I assume that the skew is most relevant to Liga Inglesa and some of the Hd channels that showed after after skew alignment.
Anyway simple (stupid) error and hopefully no one else does the same.

back end of last season as ech states, it changed from English and moved to sport1 [on transmission of epl game] the pundits are on there for an hour or so at the build up, but it banners a game elsewhere when transmission starts as mentioned, glad u picked it up tho`
