Hi can anyone please help ive been tryin to install the patch on my spiderbox, and i keep getting update fail. Help What am I doing wrong!!!!

Have you followed the instructions?
First format your USB stick, to FAT 32, you can do this using your PC or using your spiderbox. Connect the USB stick, to your Spiderbox, then go into the Spiderbox menu, navigate, and select USB, then at the bottom of the screen you will see various options, including format, by pressing the corresponding colour on your remote.
Once formatted take it to your PC.
Download the latest patch, for your Spiderbox, if you tell us which version you have we could provide a link to the correct patch:

Once downloaded you need to uncompress the file, using Winzip, Winrar, 7-zip, or other utility.
Once unzipped load the file onto your USB stick.
Connect the USB stick to your spiderbox, go into the menu, select USB, select the file, press OK and load the patch.
Once completed, and the receiver re-boots, go into the menu and press 1111, on your remote control, this opens the hidden menu options.

thank u, ive done the usb stick now just need to uncompress the file now. The spiderbox is the9900 thank you for your help im a total novice at this!!!!

If you haven't got winzip, or winrar, installed try 7-zip, it's a free utility, all these will uncompress the file for you, once it's uncompressed move it to your PC's desktop, makes it easier to find.
You only require the latest patch, this one, for the 9900HD:
