vu duo and my white card

hi, i have a duo in the lounge and a technomate tm 5402 in the bedroom and i wish to share the card.
just a quick question, i understand about the f and c lines, but do i still need to port forward my router config. even though both boxes are on the same network

Port forwarding is never necessary within a LAN.
Just use the IP addresses of the receivers in the lines - not a domain.
