Hello,
i have tested the original image and the card only works with MultiCAS. My Box is AzBox HD Premium+.

More i have tested OpenPli, Spaze and OpenRSI but oscam, cccam, mgcamd and newcamd cannot initialize the card.
Perhaps it is a driver problem.

So my question is which E2 Image works with internal Reader and NDS Videoguard card?
Or should I install a USB / Serial Reader in the second slot?

Thank you.

Only images with old kernel can read cards in internal reader.

But it is no preblem with external reader and new kernel.

How old should the kernel be. I have the same problem. I'm not able decrypt my digiturk cryptoworks card in my premium +. I have installed OpenAZBox PLi MOD HD Prerelease 7 with kernel 3.5.5.

Hi,

Don't waste your time with older image that were supposed to support the internal card reader, you will run into other problems/bugs that people will told you that they are fixed in recent image but then no card reader.
As stated in the other thread that you open with the same problem problem, use your DM7000 as a card server and Azbox as a client, that's the solution for you. Or purchase a smargo/smartreader and connect it to your Azcrap.

Even with E2 firmware that are supposed to support the internal card reader the card reader is very unstable, people needs to connect an external card reader or use a real STB as card server to have something stable.

Or you can also purchase a Raspberry Pi a Smargo/Smartreader or a PCSC card reader (then choose a very good one) and use the RPi as a card server, OScam is running fine on it. I guess a RPi will consume less power than your old DM7000 to do a card server.

Thanks Pr2. I think the easiest will be to sell it and by an alternative working box.. thanks for all the advices.
