Still considering all options....

I am considering the above option fixed for 13E and 19E and for the other satellites a motor.

I have read that it is possible as follows but would like your opinion on this:

For a twin tuner receiver.

1) Cable from Tuner A to a 4 way diseqc switch. I use two of the switches 1, 2 for 13E and 19E;

2) Cable from Tuner B to motor input. Then from motor output to switch 3 and from switch 4 to motorised LNB.

Anyone heard of this configuration? Will it work?

I have a twin tuner receiver but is there another way round if you have just one tuner? Maybe a switch in the room to change from motorised to fixed?

I mentioned dual LNBs so that the setup can be used in both rooms and not simultaneously again with regards to motor. I presume as in my previous thread one has to use LNB out to connect to a second box to control motorised LNB or an F connector in my case as I do not have LNB out in my receivers.

Thanks

If you want the above setup to work and you have just one tuner, I assume it will not work.
As if an indoor switch is used to switch from motor to fixed, and say the motor is on, then diseqc switch has no power. Can someone confirm this please.

If you have just one tuner, then forget the diseqc switch and just have a motorised dish.

If you have a twin tuner receiver then you can have a fixed dish connected to tuner A but will need two lnbs pointing at 13E and 19E controlled by a diseqc switch.

Tuner B would be connected to a motorised dish with a single lnb. No diseqc switch would be needed for the motorised dish.
