Been using this on Android on my Eee pad on and off for a while now but still can't get the Eee pad to open media streams from it. :(

what do u mean by media streams!? channel streams?

u need to make sure port 8001 is port forwarded also on yuor router. (as well as your webif port)

Channel Stream.

I can watch quite happily on my PC via webif but not on my Tablet using this app nor directly via any browser I've tried. VLC works differently on Andoid and none of the other video players for android will play it either. Tried for hours and gave up in the end. :(

mate, daroon player, mxplayer, vlc, all play the streams.

did u try on the LAN, before pushing out onto WAN?

i can stream channels via both LAN and WAN on WEBIF, Streamdroid, TIMOTE, and NXtrend app.

Not on my ASUS they don't but thanks anyway.

i use dreamdroid, never had a problem with it but will try this on my nexus 7

Im pleased to see that you like my work. :)

To answer the ios question:
Its not (yet) out, and i ve got almost no free time atm. To be true, i expect a release date around christmas at the earliest.
For tablet maybe dreamdroid ist still the better choise cause timote is lacking a tablet optimized gui (for now ;)).

If you guys experience any kind of errors, please let me know (pn / email to admin@timote.info / leave a comment at timote.info).

hi, ive just got the nexus 7. timote and vlc working together fine over lan. anyone know what i need to do to get it working over wan ?.
