STC6000 V2.11.01 Fw issue

Just loaded this Fw update and the box is locked showing ERR0x01. I cannot get out of this can anybody help please?

You will have to run Porter Express to clean the flash memory and then load the new f/w. Details are in he ICECRYPT section.

Hi All,
Managed to recover the box following fatboy7's thread "How to: Hard Flash 'Boot' / 'Cleaner' / 'Firmware". worked a treat but the button to be pressed is the same as the 4000 (channel up) not the volume up as stated in the thread.
Should have done some studying first before posting the thread, but still a usefull exercise

In the process of doing that. I did a quick check and I still cannot record the HD channels on the Freeview tuner. Any ideas?

Have you done a factory reset after the upgrade?
