Hi Buck, How are you finding new firmware?

I loaded it onto a USB and straight onto the S6000. Loader 6.00. Used Polar Edit to put on the channels. All loaded OK.
It seems to be a lot more stable than the previous f/w. GUI on the icon menus different. Weather wouldn`t load at first but solved
when internet restarted!
EPG loaded OK but VERY disappointed that programme synopsis for 7 days not available.
One problem: internal HDD and external HDD do not spin down when in standby but do in power saving standby.
If the EPG would populate 7 days programme synopsis for the S6000 together with a f/w as stable as this for the S4000 and 7 day programme
synopsis I would be a much happier OAP.

Ok loaded this new Fw and I still cannot record any HD freeview programmes any ideas?
Also when going to the utilities menue there is no Internet radio or Free Tv. I cannot and never have been able to get the weather facility either.
I have not loaded the latest webzeal (if that makes a difference)

Change the menu to icon to get Internet radio and Free TV and weather.

Hi ColdAsIce,
Any views, thoughts on not being able to record Freeview HD channels? Quite a big issue for me because it enables me (when working) to record mainstream channels whilst viewing footy channels on other sats. I can live with the gobbledegook listings, just, but not being able to record is a real pain. To re-cap I can record SD channels, I have done a clean up of the system, don't know what else to try. Have you seen this fault?
