Echostar actuator repair

I’m trying to dismantle the gear box on my Echostar actuator so that I can attempt to repair the motor, but the plastic shaft that the reed switch magnet is attached to is stopping the gear box halves from separating and I don’t want to break the plastic.

So if some one can give some advice or better still a pdf showing how to dismantle it please
