icecrypt s3500hdcci EPG Very Slow

Hi Guys, I've borrowed an icecrypt s3500hdcci and looking to replace it with my currenty Humax box. However I'm finding the EPG guy very very slow to populate. unless I goto into the channel it forces it, or I can goto express epg and if I use the TV EPG it downloads about 4 channels at a time. - is it somehting I'm doing wrong? - any help would be great.

The EPG updates in the background on the S3500 that means it has to be left in standby to update.
If you don't switch your receiver into standby regularly then your EPG won't update very quickly if at all.
