have tried to d/load this file but nothing happens when i click "save to computer" . do you have to register before it will d/load ? thanks

Works for me, no registration necessary. Is your browser blocking the download?

have registered and its downloaded now , do i just connect t/tom to pc and drag all the ov2 and bitmap images to the device and they will overwrite the ones already in device or will they need activating in some way ? thanks

No activation required, just copy all the .OV2 & 1 full set of the .BMP files into the map folder.
