Is my spiderbox dead as such now

Hi i have a spiderbox 9000hd but now the gift has gone and I'm only getting FTA channels does this mean the spidey is no good anymore or is there a card I can purchase or another way to get my other channels working ??? I mainly used it for sport and movies but I want it to be quite reliable cos I wanna switch my sly off or can I get it up and working off my own Internet network somehow and if so how do I do it

no its not dead , its the same as all the other boxes out there (apart from pr*tek)

so you now have the same issues as dreambox owners and vu owners and all the other boxes that use lan connections

your options are:-

use FTA channels

use BISS keys

use SOFTCAM keys

obtain and add and use one or more C lines (cccam)

obtain and add and use one or more N lines (newcamd)

use cards and maybe cams if you have a CI slot

plenty of info on this in the dreambox and vu sections , never mind the spiderbox FAQ section

there are no guarantees in this game so dont expect anything "reliable" , - you get what you get , and thats all you get

there are some reliable solutions to your problem and i have been using with no probs for over a year.have a good look round google

Thanks for the reply Echelon and all of the rest of you guys. Wot about the premium packages on card sharing are these any good ?? Do they keep dropping and do you have to put new lines in daily ?? As I've seen some free lines for cccam and Newcamb and they seem to be hit and miss on the cccam and I'm yet to get a line working using the Newcamb lines I've tried plus it's a pain doing it daily hence the question re the premium packages. afraid we cannot talk about cs m8

as with all services , some are good , some are bad

find a good one (which is a p*yserver , not cs , or do the proper job and get a card and share it
(that is actually what cs is !!............ c = c*rd , s = sh*re)
