Hi Guys,
I have been playing with my spiderbox and noticed that I have poor signal quality levels on certain Astra channels.
Most are around 74% but some are between 30% - 50% and a lot of these are the HD channels and seem to be on Astra 1M.

I have a zone 2 elyptical dish with a quad lnb.

Could I use an ultra gain inverto lnb with a zone 2 dish to get better results?

Cheers

Maybe you should wait for another couple of weeks and see how things are when Astra 2F arrives at that location, for further see here:

if you have a lock on these channels with no breakup then all ok but you could also try to realign your dish with the inverto lnb not sure if it will help but you could try for £10 will not bankrupt you

The Sly Zone 1 and 2 dishes have non standard LNBs to accommodate the lateral, elliptical pattern of the dish.

A standard low noise LNB with a circular (scalar ringed) feedhorn may not give you any benefit.
